This is the homepage of the Dutch photograph club 'het Motief' from Heerlen in the Netherlands. On this page we offer some help to find your way using the different tabs.

What is ‘het Motief

We are the Amateur Photographic Association het Motief, such as this photo group is to be called officially. AFV het Motief is as Association an member of the Dutch Fotobond.

What we do!

Once in the fourteen days we have an meeting to share our work.
We have activities as an exposition, projects and evenings with workshops and instructions.
Sometimes we go with a few members to a location to make pictures on the spot.
We participate in competitions where we compete with other Associations and their members.
We have 20 - 25 members.

What can you find here?

"Fotogalerij" contains a choice of photographs of our members (leden).
It also contains the selections of our participation in national contests. Last time we ranked 13th at the national contest of the Dutch Photographic Association.

 “Exposities”, contains the photographs we showed on expositions, and the result of a project “Night of the night”.

“Activititeiten”, contains our program of activities.
